ABOUT ME

Thank you for visiting my gallery! My name is Jacqueline Freeman, I love to draw and paint figures and faces and the sea, and live on the coast near Brighton, England. My background is as a specialist early psychosis nurse practitioner, working for over 20 years in this role before coming to a more creative way of life via a catastrophic critical illness.  The sudden severe illness resulted in life-changing consequences both physically and in terms of shifting my perspective and outlook on life.  I started life drawing in 2019 and was immediately hooked, completing the Art & Design Foundation Studies at Brighton Metropolitan College in 2020.  Making art remains a drive and a passion, a way to observe, express and share powerful emotional experiences.
I sell original art, Giclee prints and greeting cards to local galleries and make commissioned artwork on request.
